Report: Marijuana actually not that bad for your lungs

A study published Tuesday in the Journal of the American Medical Assn. shows that there’s no link between lung damage and pot smoke.  Although, with heavy use, there is an adverse effect on your lungs. But remember that the short term effects associated with smoking pot (the ones that make you high) can impair your ability to function normally.
