Wanna be mayor? What’s your architectural vision?

Tonight the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects launches a series of Friday night conversations with the mayoral candidates about their vision for the city, from where to put more parks and open space to how to cut down on the city’s visual blight. (Unless you like forests of billboards, of course.) L.A.’s mayoral candidates will explain their visions for the city when it comes to architectural design issues, urban planning and the relationship between city and citizen.  The events are free and open to the public and will be be held at the Ronald Deaton Civic Auditorium at the LAPD headquarters downtown L.A.  More information here.
