The San Francisco Police Department became the first law enforcement agency in the country to get involved in “It Gets Better,” the on-going nationwide anti-bullying campaign of LGBT youth. SFPD officers appeared in an online video to support LGBT youth. It’s a moving statement against the bullying of students because of their sexual orientation (or any other reason for that matter).
It does get better, and until it does, we here in the San Francisco Police Department will stick up for you. – Greg Suhr, chief of police, SFPD
