Where can I see Space Shuttle Endeavour?

On Friday and Saturday, October 12 and 13, the space shuttle Endeavour will be dragged through Los Angeles streets — many recently shorn of trees to make room for it — on its way from Los Angeles International Airport to the California Science Center in Exposition Park.

The California Science Center says you should wait until it’s ready for viewing at its final destination, but crowds will inevitably be gathering to watch the shuttle along its route. Some good places to see Endeavour include the Forum in the city of Inglewood on Saturday between 8 and 10 a.m., and the intersection of Crenshaw Blvd and Martin Luther King Blvd. at about 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Aviation Week has the full rundown of viewing places and a great map here.

The California Science Center has posted Endeavour’s turn-by-turn directions, and more information here.
