Los Angeles Times restaurant critic Jonathan Gold talks about the “extreme locavorism” that has gripped the food scene here in Southern California. The idea that food should come from the area we live in led to some interesting culinary creations, and could be a key feature of our future dining.  “It’s wonderful to see so much food, not just fruits and vegetables, but now even grains and meats coming from our area,” says Gold.
