A Santa Barbara melon that won’t let you down

Choosing the right melon can be tough. Sometimes they’re tasteless. Sometimes they’re mealy. And, you never really know until you crack one open.

But, Ellie Patterson from Here’s the Scoop, a Montecito sorbet and gelato shop, swears she’s found a variety that never lets her down: Ambrosia melon from Shepherd Farms.
