Prop 57 explained in 60 seconds

California Parole for Non-Violent Criminals and Juvenile Court Trial Requirements Initiative or Proposition 57 aims to change a few things in California’s criminal justice system: non-violent criminals would have more parole opportunities and judges (not prosecutors) would get to decide when certain juveniles should be tried as adults.
