Kristen Lepore is the managing producer of our Independent Producer Project. She coaches emerging talent for on air / on demand programming while developing new podcasts. She also heads up our annual 24-Hour Radio Race.

Most recently, Kristen launched the KCRW podcast Bodies. In this role, she oversaw production and created a long-term marketing strategy.

Previously, Kristen wore many hats as a consultant where she helped brands grow their audience. Clients included L.A. Weekly and terrestrial podcast from the NPR affiliate KUOW. Prior to that, she worked at KPCC in various roles covering everything from housing to the 2016 presidential election.

Kristen has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and writes for publications like Quartz and Marie Claire in her free time. She's always down to talk about your story ideas.
